School’n’Rail St. Beatus Caves.

Discover mystical caves of stalagmites and stalactites.

Grottos, caverns, gorges and waterfalls: explore the extensively branched cave system of St Beatus Caves.

The St Beatus Caves are among the ten largest cave systems in Switzerland and, along with the Hölloch in the Muotatal, are one of the few to be open to the public. So far, 14 kilometres of the extensively branched cave system have been explored, 1 kilometre of which is secured for visitors. Inside the cave, grottos formed by water thousands of years ago await your class. Be enchanted by rippling waterfalls and impressive stalactite formations. This is a mystical experience that the whole class will remember.
