From 24 November to 4 December, only the villa is open, with the gallery spaces remaining closed. Admission to the collection is free during this time.

Oskar Reinhart came from a wealthy Winterthur family. As a young man, he began to collect art. Today, some of his collection is on display at his villa ‘Am Römerholz’ with a focus on the French Impressionists and their forerunners. Explore one of the most significant private collections of the 20th century with masterpieces by Monet, Renoir, Cézanne, Manet, Rubens, Goya, Bruegel and many more. Round off your visit to the collection with a stroll through the extensive parklands.
Outward journey: to Winterthur, according to the online timetable.
From Winterthur station by bus no. 10 to ‘Haldengut’, then around a 10-minute walk to the museum.
From Winterthur station (stop G) with the Museum Transfer. Booking at least 30 minutes in advance with Taxi Capa. Orders are currently taken only by telephone; please mention Museum Transfer. The transfer costs CHF 5 per person and journey.
The museum shuttle stops between the G and J platforms, in front of the SBB Travel Center; the vehicles are clearly marked.

Prams and pushchairs are not permitted inside the museum.
