School trips.
School classes (groups of 10 or more) enjoy the following benefits:
Day Pass for Schools for CHF 15 per person (aged 6 to 25) for a return journey within the GA Travelcard area of validity.
Discount of up to 20% on the school rate for the leisure attraction (e.g. admission to the zoo, mountain lift/railway journey etc.).
Comprehensive service (SMS notification, seat reservations, etc.)
State and private schools, as well as youth groups, for example:
School children from the 1st to 9th year at state or private middle schools.
Schools for the deaf, blind and visually impaired.
Students from higher education institutes and universities.
Groups of young people from disabled youth institutes, orphanages and children’s homes.
Participants in Youth+Sports events (the Day Pass for Schools is always available. There are some exceptions for discounted leisure attractions).
Youth groups such as Scouts/Guides, Blauring etc. (Day Pass for Schools is always available. There are some exceptions for discounted leisure attractions)
Other groups with a strong educational mandate.
The following conditions must be met:
A minimum of 10 travellers below the age of 25.
Each school group must be accompanied by a person aged 16 or over. This accompanying person also counts as a participant.
For every eight children or young people, there can be a maximum of two accompanying persons aged 16 or older.
No, but you can buy the Day Pass for Schools individually online.
RailAway combined offers (Day Pass for Schools and discounted admission) for schools can be purchased from a staffed public transport point of sale or from the SBB Contact Center, 0848 44 66 88 (CHF 0.08/min.).
