Basel Zoo – affectionately known as the ‘Zolli’ – is a green oasis in the centre of the city. It will celebrate its 150th anniversary in 2024. Celebrate with us and visit Basel Zoo on your next company or club outing! Over the course of the entire year, there will be plenty of activities to take part in, whether to learn, discover, or simply for pleasure. New bird house: after more than three years of construction work, Basel Zoo’s new bird environments are being opened to the public.

Self-service restaurant at the heart of the zoo, with menus to suit all budgets.
Outward journey: to Basel SBB and five to ten minutes on foot to Zoo Basel, according to the online timetable.
