FAQ Swiss Runners Ticket.
You can redeem the coupon code online at sbb.ch, at the ticket counter or in the SBB Mobile app.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to redeem the coupon code at ticket machines.
Yes, each runner receives two individual codes, one for their outward journey and one for their return journey. Each of these can be used once.
It is not possible technologically to implement an outward and return journey with the same code. This is why each runner has a code for the outward journey and a code for the return journey.
No, the ticket is only valid on the calendar day printed on the ticket. All participants are granted one outward and one return journey to/from the event site for the race for which they are registered (nearest public transport stop). They can select their desired departure and arrival day on the calendar in the purchase process. If a runner does not wish to complete their entire outward or return journey in one go, they can use the codes for the first or second part of their journey. They must buy a normal public transport ticket for the other part of the journey.
The ticket does not have to be printed out. After purchasing the ticket online, the runner can also show it in the SBB Mobile app or on their smartphone.
Show your valid ticket, which you bought with the coupon code. As with all types of online ticket, the runner must also be able to show official ID at any time.
Throughout the GA area of validity, using the usual 2nd class route.
