Go up Solothurn’s local mountain by cable car or on foot.

The cable car takes you from Oberdorf to Solothurn’s local mountain, Weissenstein, in around 12 minutes. From the mountain station, there are all sorts of hikes to enjoy. Admire the Jura Garden with its 200 plant species or wander through the galaxy on the Planetary Trail. And there are magnificent views of the Alpine range from Mont Blanc to the Säntis.
