Fort de Chillon Museum: Swiss army fortress Fort de Chillon, constructed in 1941 and declassified in 2001.
Outward journey: to Veytaux-Chillon; Veytaux, château de Chillon or Château-de-Chillon (lac), according to the online timetable. 2 minutes on foot from the Veytaux, château de Chillon bus stop, 1 minute on foot from the Château-de-Chillon landing stage, 5 minutes on foot from Veytaux-Chillon station.
The CGN boats which take you to the Château-de-Chillon (lac) stop run daily from mid-April to the end of October, and on Sundays only during the winter period (detailed information and exact dates at cgn.ch).
The château is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs (baby carriers can be used).
On 11 May 2025, the Chillon Castle ticket is also valid for Fort de Chillon Museum: «1939-1945 Between Castle and Fort, commemorating a shared history».
