Discover a natural wonder millions of years old.
Grottos, caverns, gorges and waterfalls: explore the extensively branched cave system of St. Beatus Caves.
St. Beatus Caves are among the largest caves in Switzerland and, along with the Hölloch in the Muotatal, one of the few to be open to the public. To date, 14 kilometres of the extensive cave system have been explored, one kilometre of which is safe for visitors. Inside, you’ll find grottos that were formed by water thousands of years ago. You’ll be captivated by splashing waterfalls and impressive stalactite formations. A mystical experience that you’re sure to remember.
