The 126-year-old cog railway takes you from Wilderswil to the Schynige Platte. Once you get there, the incredible dreamlike view of the mountains opens up before you. The easy-going Naturkino circular trail connects particularly picturesque vantage points, and in the Botanical Alpine Garden, you can admire over 777 different mountain plants from the Alpine region. The Schynige Platte also has plenty for little ones to do, as this is the home of Lily the cow. The mascot accompanies guests on a treasure hunt and on the alpine playground just next to the mountain hotel.
