There’s plenty to enjoy in the mountain world of Cardada Cimetta, whatever your age. Locarno’s local mountain is the perfect starting point for hikes in summer and winter, active sporting activities, tobogganing and excursions for the whole family. The cable car will take you from Orselina to Cardada in just a few minutes. A two-seater chairlift continues to Cimetta – at an altitude of 1,670 metres above sea level – where you can enjoy panoramic views over Lake Maggiore and the surrounding valleys.

The cable car from Orselina to Cardada runs every 30 minutes daily.
