It takes just a few minutes by cable car to reach Mettmenalp – a wildlife reserve that has existed since 1548.
Mettmenalp’s landscape makes it an ideal hiking destination and its inns invite you to linger and relax. If you’re lucky, you may spot wild animals with your very own eyes: ibexes, chamois, deer, marmots, eagles and black grouse all call this place home.
