The archaeological site is around 10 minutes’ walk from the village of Tremona. There is no direct connection by public transport. Part of the short route leads through a small wood belonging to the Monte San Giorgio Nature Park. As this is an unpaved path, appropriate footwear is recommended. Signs saying ‘Castello’ point the way to the fortress.
Visits for schools and groups are possible from Monday to Wednesday.
We recommend that you book early – ideally two weeks before you start your journey.
